Custom 1911 9mm, $1800 in East Leroy, MI
Custom built 1911 Commander in 9mm
This gun was built for a magazine article but it never materialized. I built it to what" I "think would be the perfect 1911 carry weapon.Built on an STI stainless frame using a Caspian stainless slide with external extractor. The following work was performed by myself:
SLIDE: Lighten slide by reducing width. Flat top slide with accent lines. Serrate rear of slide and de-spurred hammer. Novak tritium night sights. Flush muzzle with 11 degree crown.
FRAME: Stippled front strap. Flush pins and slide stop. Thin profile grips. Oversize mag release. Wilson Extended thumb safety and slide release. Ramped Storm Lake barrel and bushing. Caspian internals. Single stage trigger. 3- Wilson 10 rd. magazines.
Selling for $1800 cash, no trades.
